ENUGU Rangers returned to the top spot of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after the Flying Antelopes defeated FC IfeanyiUbah 1-0 in a Match Day 11 tie played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Saturday.
In-form striker, Chisom Egbuchulam got what turned out to be the winning strike in the sixth minute of play and Rangers held on for a famous win which ensured they regained the leadership of the elite division which they briefly conceded to the Anambra Warriors after mid week matches.
Rangers have 21 points from 11 matches while FC IfeanyiUbah slumped to second with 19 points from 11 ties and may move down a little more on the log if results from today's matches go against them.
