WEST Ham United trio of Victor Moses, Emmanuel Emenike and Alex Song have confirmed their participation at the Joseph Yobo Centenary Game scheduled to hold at the Amiesimaka International Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on May 27.
The confirmation was made by Emenike in a message posted on his official Instagram page with a picture of the trio in a group photograph with Yobo.
"It was nice seeing you Captain Joseph Yobo, we will be there live in Port Harcourt on the 27th of May @17alexsong and Victor Moses", he said via @emenike_9.
The Joseph Yobo Centenary Game is organized to mark the retirement from football of Joseph Yobo, captain of the victorious 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning Nigeria team, Sportsbiz247 reports.
The match which is being put together by the Joseph Yobo Foundation in partnership with the Rivers State Government, according to the organisers, will be an occasion to celebrate a worthy son of the state who had a distinguished career.
Former Everton teammate, Wayne Rooney and African greats Samuel Eto'o and Yaya Toure plus a host of other international football personalities are expected to grace the game.
The former Nigeria international defender made his Super Eagles debut against Zambia in a 2002 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 24 March, 2001 in Chingola, Zambia.
Yobo went on to amass 100 international caps, scoring seven goals in a career that spanned 13 years where he featured at three Fifa World Cups and six Afcon tournaments, leading Nigeria to victory in his last outing in South Africa.
At club level, he turned out for Standard Liège, Marseille, Everton, Fenerbahce and Norwich City between 1998 and 2014.
