THE good news coming out of the camp Nigeria Professional Football League side, Heartland FC of Owerri is that star player, Brownbraye Okpus is now in stable condition.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that Okpus passed out during the Naze Millionaires' 2-1 victory over visiting Rivers United FC, in a Match Day 11 fixture played at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday.
The player was stretched out of the pitch now and taken to the ambulance in the 83rd minute of the encounter.
Heartland shared the news via the team's official Twitter handle @HeartlandFC_ng, saying: "GOODNEWS! Brownbraye Okpus has been resuscitated after he passed out during today's game. Medics say he's ok now," the club said.
