St Mirren vs Rangers: Balogun is 50-50, says Gerrard

LMC fines Giwa FC N6.75m, banished to Ilorin

GIWA FC has been fined N5 million and ordered to play their next three home matches at the Ilorin Township Stadium amongst other sanctions placed on the club and it’s Media Officer by the League Management Company (LMC) following investigations into the circumstances that led to the abandoning of the Match Day 12 fixture between the club and Rangers last Sunday.

NPFL: FC Ifeanyiubah now league leaders, Rangers vs Giwa tie abandoned

NIGERIA Professional Football League (NPFL) was played through three days with three live television coverages starting with a Friday night football game at the Agege Stadium, Lagos between MFM FC and Wikki Tourists.

By Sunday evening, it was FC Ifeanyiubah, who had gone top of the pile no thanks to the abandoned game involving leaders going into the match day, Rangers International.

RANGERS 1-0 IFEANYI UBAH: Flying Antelope regain NPFL top spot

ENUGU Rangers returned to the top spot of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after the Flying Antelopes defeated FC IfeanyiUbah 1-0 in a Match Day 11 tie played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Saturday.

In-form striker, Chisom Egbuchulam got what turned out to be the winning strike in the sixth minute of play and Rangers held on for a famous win which ensured they regained the leadership of the elite division which they briefly conceded to the Anambra Warriors after mid week matches.

Rangers have 21 points from 11 matches while FC IfeanyiUbah slumped to second with 19 points from 11 ties and may move down a little more on the log if results from today's matches go against them.
