CAF CC: Rivers Utd charged up ahead Bloemfontein Celtic clash, says Eguma

RIVERS United Technical Adviser, Stanley Eguma believes their 3-1 victory over Heartland in the matchday 5 of the NPFL will serve as a morale booster ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash against South African side Bloemfontein Celtic.

THE youngest FIFA-badged referee in Nigeria, Adebimpe Quadri will take charge of Sunday’s match day 20 of the Nigeria Professional Football League fixture between Heartland and Enugu Rangers at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.

FEDERATION CUP: Giwa, Heartland crash out

.3SC, MFM, Rivers Utd secure win
Giwa FC of Jos and Heartland FC of Owerri were the major casualties of the round of 64 Federation Cup games played across the country on Wednesday.

While Giwa suffered a 2-0 loss in the hands of Sunshine Stars at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, Heartland FC crashed out 4-3 on penalties to non-League team, Top World FC of Ekiti at Oleh Township Stadium.

Okpus in stable condition, says Heartland

THE good news coming out of the camp Nigeria Professional Football League side,  Heartland FC of Owerri is that star player,  Brownbraye Okpus is now in stable condition.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that Okpus passed out during the Naze Millionaires' 2-1 victory over visiting Rivers United FC, in a Match Day 11 fixture played at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday.

HEARTLAND 2-1 RIVERS UTD:Ajunwa seals victory for Naze Millionaires

A late strike from substitute, Onyebuchi Ajunwa, helped Heartland to seal a 2-1 win against visiting Rivers United FC, in a Match Day 11 fixture played at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday.

It was the Naze Millionaires fourth win of the season in 10 games.
