NIGERIA international Peter Osaze Odemwingie and Sarah
Fallon celebrated their anniversary on Thursday four years after tying the knot
in Northampton, England Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The Stoke City forward and Sarah got married on 26 May
2012 at a small church in the grounds of Castle Ashby in Northampton after two
years of dating. They are blessed with two boys.
The former West Bromwich Albion, who uploaded a picture
of himself in celebration mood with Sara on his official Twitter account, also announced
that the couple is expecting their first daughter in October.
“Our 4th year
anniversary today. Love my wife, mum of
my two boys and our little princess due in October😀! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”,
he said.
The 34 year old joined Bristol City on loan for the last
ten games and scored two goals in seven appearances for the Championship side.
Born in Russia, Odemwingie progressed through CSKA
Moscow's youth system.
Following spells in Nigeria with Bendel Insurance and
Belgium with La Louviere he moved to Ligue 1 side Lille in 2003 before moving
back to Russia with Lokomotiv Moscow.
Odemwingie signed for West Brom in 2010 for an
undisclosed fee and in three seasons at The Hawthorns scored 30 goals in 90
appearances.
He spent four months at Cardiff, who paid £2.25million
for him in September 2013, before moving on to Stoke in a player-exchange deal
which saw Kenwyne Jones move in the opposite direction.
Odemwingie, who missed most of the 2014/15 season due to
a knee ligament injury, has scored five goals in a total of 31 appearances for
Stoke.
Internationally Odemwingie has been capped 63 times for
Nigeria, scored ten goals. He represented his country at two World Cups,
captained them in the 2010 African Cup of Nations and achieved a silver medal
with the Super Eagles at the 2008 Olympics.
