Beating Rivers Angels will be turning point, Confluence coach assures

CONFLUENCE Queens head coach, Shola Adewuyi has predicted that his team will come good despite their patchy run of results in recent times.

The Lokoja based outfit have slumped to 6th in the Group B of the Nigeria Women Premier League table after picking just one point in their last two matches against FC Robo and Delta Queens.

"The management and supporters have every right to be upset with the team but we'll bounce back," he said in a chat with Confluence Queens Media.

"We have the quality to bounce back and I have no doubt in my mind we'll do.

"I believe our turning point will be against Rivers Angels. They should not give up on us at the moment. We need their prayers and support."

Confluence Queens will travel to Port Harcourt where they tackle old 'friends' Rivers United in a must-win game on Saturday.
