The event will feature seven professional bouts,
including a West African Boxing Union lightweight between Oto “Joe Boy” Joseph
and Ghanaian boxer, Anma Dotse and an international Lightweight challenge duel
between an Ibadan-indigene boxing rave, Olaide “Fijaborn” Fijabi, and Togolese
Sunday Yao.
Aside the national and West African light welterweight
champion, Fijabi, fighting in his hometown, other Ibadan-based boxers, Akeem
“Dodo” Sadiku and Sadiq “Happy Boy” Adeleke will also be in action.
Akeem “Dodo” Sadiku, will take on Kazeem “KC Confidence”
Saka in a light middleweight duel while the bantamweight category will feature
Sadiq “Happy Boy” Adeleke who will exchange punches with Taiwo “Twin Warrior”
Kareem.
In the light heavyweight division, Adewale “Masevex”
Masebinu will fight Kabiru “KB Godson” Towolawi in an eight-round challenge
bout. Sule "Tyson" Olagbade will take on Wahab "Hammer"
Adebisi in a national light middleweight challenge contest, while fast rising
boxer, Rilwan “Baby Face” Babatunde will face Waliu “Oganla” Arogundade in the
challenge light welterweight category.
The best boxer on the night will win a N2million cash
prize and the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy.
The event, sponsored by GOtv, with the support of the
Federal Inland Revenue Service, MultiChoice, Brila FM, KSquare Security,
Paragonis Multimedia Limited, Bond FM, Complete Sports, ZetaWeb and
Newsbreak.ng, will be broadcast live on SuperSport in 47 African countries.
