.Three points more important for Makinwa
KATSINA United coach, Baldwin Bazuaye has admitted that
the mistakes made by his team were responsible for the 1-0 loss to Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC) in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match
day 12 encounter, held at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin last weekend.
A 25th minute
strike by Adeshina Issa Gata ensured that Katsina United left Ilorin empty
handed, reports Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
Despite the defeat, Bazuaye said both teams had a good game and gave a good
account of themselves.
"ABS FC is a sound team, we played together in NNL
Super 4, my boys didn't play well in the first half but we came out better in
the second half.
"It is just because of one or two mistakes that we
made.My team played well but some few lapses made us
lose today (Sunday), myself and colleagues will work on it," Bazuaye said.
His ABS FC counterpart, Henry Makinwa, said he is
delighted his team won because what is most important is the three points.
"We are working hard to see the boys scoring goals,
I'm working everyday to improve them. I am happy about my boys performance today (Sunday)
but we always want to do more.
"Our visitors played a very good game, we should
have scored more but they denied us because they have a good team too,"
Makinwa said.
ABS FC will now face another newly promoted side Remo
Stars in Shagamu, while Katsina United host Rivers United in match day 13 on
Sunday.
