NIGERIA international, John Ogu has said he is delighted
to be staying at Hapoel Be’er Sheva after signing a new deal with the club.
The 28 year old signed a two-year contract extension that
will keep him at the Israeli Premier League side until 2019, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The Super Eagles midfielder featured prominently to help the
Camels end their 40-year wait for the Israeli League title last season.
It was a rewarding season for the Nigerian as he was also
named the Best Foreign Player in the Israeli Premier League.
Ogu who uploaded a picture of himself signing the
contract papers on his Instagram page, expressed gratitude to the club
president, Kfir Arazi, the staff, team mates and fans for their support.
“Happy to keep representing this football club Hapoel Be’er
Sheva for more years. I moved here to Israel 2 seasons ago and everything has
been great with the people of Israel.
“From the president, the staff and my team mates and to
our Fans who have all showed me love from day one till today.
“I promise to always give back that trust and support on
the pitch. Thank you very much”, he said via @Ogu30.
