SUPER Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi believes he should have
been credited with Arsenals’ first goal in a 4-1 victory over Hull City on
Saturday.
The Nigerian international saw his goal-bound strike in
the 17th minute of the encounter deflected off Alexis Sanchez into the net to
give Arsenal the opening goal.
The 20 year old was seen high-fives Theo Walcott after
taking the brunt of the credit for the goal, which was later awarded to the
Chilean international.
Iwobi who was in excellent form got another assist to his
name in the 55th minute as he provided a sublime back-heeled pass
for Walcott to latch onto and score from a tight angle for his 100th career
goal.
Substitute then Xhaka put the icing on the cake when he
was given acres of space to launch a spectacular 30-yard strike that looped
over Eldin Jakupovic.
The Nigerian youngster however took to his twitter
account to express his disappointment not to be awarded with the opening goal.

#3Points,” he said via @alexiwobi.
The strike would have gone down as Iwobi's first Premier
League goal of the season.
