SUPER Eagles and Mainz 05 defender, Leon Balogun has been
named in the German Bundesliga's Team of The Week for Gameweek 4 by
whoscored.com, one of the largest detailed football statistics website which
covers Europe's top leagues.
The 28 year old defender was not deterred by his
protective mask as he helped the Carnival
club secured a 2-1 away victory over Werder Bremen in front of 37108 spectators
at the Weserstadion on Wednesday.
The home side had taken the lead in the 12th minute
through a sensational long-range strike from Izet Hajrovic and looked as though
