THE Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) will on Saturday formally unveil it's Olympic team for the 2016 games.
According to the NWF president, Hon Daniel Igali, the
official send forth of the wrestlers will be held at the High performance
hostel, Package B in Abuja by 2pm.

SportingLife reports that seven wrestlers consisting of five female: Mercy Genesis (48kg),
Odunayo Adekuoroye (53kg), Aminat Adeniyi (58kg), Blessing Oborududu (63kg) and
Hannah Reuben (69Kg) as well as two male; Amas Daniel (65kg) and Soso Tamarau (97kg)
will represent the country in Rio.
Igali said the unveiling is to further boost and motivate
the athletes who have been committed to their fatherland.
"This gesture is to boost the wrestlers as they will
be competing with other wrestlers in the world. It is to show that we are
concerned about their welfare", the President said.
Igali urged journalists in the country to continue to
support and portray the federation in good light as they are the Eagle eye of
the society.
"I look forward to your continued support for our
athletes," Daniel Igali said.
