Depleted Ikorodu Utd face MFM in Lagos derby

IKORODU United will be parading a depleted team when they take on MFM FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match Day 25 at the Agege Stadium on Sunday.


According to information from the camp of the Oga Boys, many of the players involved in series of recent accidents are yet to recover fully for the match tagged, ‘Lagos Derby’.

“Ikorodu United will be parading a depleted team tomorrow due to the series of accident that rocked the first team players of the Oga Boys in the space of two days,” said the Media Manager of the club, Babatunde Ayoola.

“All players involved in the accidents had various degree of injury ranging from 1 week to 3 months recovery period. Only 5 players are back and fit from the series of accidents.


“However, tomorrow's Lagos Derby promises to be a massive match for the Oga Boys, the new coaching crew and the fans as they all go out for a win to boost the confidence of the team,” Ayoola said.
