Igali set Olympic, World C’ships gold medal targets for team Nigeria

CHAIRMAN, Caretaker Committee of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) Hon. Daniel Igali says his target is now to see the country produce an Olympic and World Championships gold medallist in the next three years, after Blessing Obourududu won a historic silver medal at the recent Tokyo 2020 Games.

FORMER World No. 1 Odunayo Adekuoroye laid down the marker in the 57kg class ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, impressively claiming gold at the Poland Open on a day her compatriot Blessing Oborududu won silver at the Ranking Series tournament in Warsaw.
