Rescheduled Game: Plateau Utd gets double bonus to beat Rangers

THE General Manger of Plateau United Football Club of Jos, Pius Henwan has tasked his players to at least pick a point in Wednesday’s rescheduled Week 18 fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League against Rangers International in Enugu.


Henwan who spoke through the Media Officer of the club, Albert Dakup reminded the players of the double match bonus he promised them, noting that as man of his words; they will get their money immediately after the match.

He stated that management of the club will continue to motivate the team to ensure the realisation of its objectives which is picking a continental ticket at the end of the season.

The general manager while appreciating the efforts of the players and the technical crew for maintaining their top spot on the league table in the first round, challenged them to remained focus until victory is achieved.

He commended Governor Simon Lalong for his unflinching support to the team and he urged soccer fans in the state to support the club so as to ensure that the team play continental football next season. 

The Peace Boys who are currently sitting on top of the league table with 35 points from 18 matches have vowed to give their best in this encounter so as to consolidate their leadership position of the NPFL table.
