PLATEAU United Technical
Adviser, Kennedy Boboye has assured that the team will triple their effort and work extra-hard in the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football

Boboye who made the
assurance when the State Governor Simon Lalong paid an unscheduled to the
management, technical crew and players of the team at their club house in Jos.
He noted that as champions
of the first round, they will approach the second with renew commitment and
zeal to succeed.
Governor Lalong charged the
team to ensure that they do all they could to emerge winner of the NPFL this
season.
The governor who was
represented by his chief of staff, John Dafaan, said the Rescue Administration
under his leadership will provide the moral and final support to the club in
ensuring that the team win this year's title.
He said government is
totally committed to the continental ambition of the team and promised that
everything will be done to ensure that the realisation of that objective.
Earlier, general manager of
the club, Pius Henwan who appreciated the governor for the moral and financial
support to the team enumerated some challenges facing the team and appealed for
prompt attention.
Henwan who expressed joy
over the visit noted that such gestures will encourage the team to always give
their best whenever the are playing.
Plateau United who are
currently occupying the top spot on the league table with 35 points from 19
matches are in Katsina to face Katsina United in the week 20 fixtures of the
NPFL on Sunday to herald the commencement of the second round.
