SUPER Eagles goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi is in cloud nine
after keeping a clean sheet to help Chippa United move out of the relegation
places with a 3-0 ABSA Premiership win over SuperSport United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium,

Rhulani Manzini’s hat-trick earned the Chilli Boys all three points on the
night to move up to 13th on the log and positive momentum going into the final
game of the season.
Akpeyi, who put up some decent safes during the encounter
expressed gratitude to the club supporters for standing by the team all through
the encounter.
The Nigerian international has now shifted his attention
to Nedbank Cup semi final game also against SuperSport United on Saturday.
“I have so much reason to shout and glorify God about the
victory! We are so grateful to the supporters who stood by us in the toughest
times without moving and inch.., every chanting from them brings strength from
the depths of our being, and I believe we will do even more as we prepare for
the Cup semi final Saturday,” the 31 year old posted on his Instagram page.
