Remo’s victory over Lobi Stars is non-negotiable, says Osho

Technical Adviser of Remo Stars Football Club, Fatai Osho has indicated that the fans should expect the best from his wards on Sunday.

The Sky Blue Stars will trade tackles with Lobi Stars in one of the MatchDay 9 fixtures in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Osho says the best should be expected because the team isn't happy with the situation of results on ground now.

"The fans should expect the best because we aren't happy with the situation we are in now, the only way to change it is to start getting results and we will start that against Lobi Stars on Sunday.

"We will give them their due respect because the Pride of Benue is a traditional team in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) but we are in a situation where we have to leave the present position we are now because we aren't satisfied with it.

"I have played against Lobi Stars in different occasions while I was in the Nigeria National League (NNL) and I am sure they are aware of my style of play and I understand theirs too.

"The most important thing for my lads is to get the maximum points against Lobi Stars but if they get more than two goals, then it's more like an icing on the cake." Osho disclosed to RSFC Media.

This is the first time both teams will be playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Lobi Stars who played out a 0-0 draw with Katsina United FC will be without their Technical Adviser, Godwin Uwua and the Head Coach, Evans Ogenyi would be in charge of the team against Remo Stars FC.

The Pride of Benue are unbeaten with clean sheets in their last 4 games while the Sky Blue Stars narrowly lost at home to Niger Tornadoes in Match Day 7 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Both teams met in the round of 16 of the 2014/15 Federation Cup with Lobi Stars edging through via penalties after a 1-1 draw and also played out a barren draw in Gold Cup Preseason tournament in December, 2016.
