NIGERIAN boxer, Oluwafemi Oyeleye has expressed his delight after meeting with American legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather following his second professional win in Las Vegas, USA.
Oyeleye, who won gold in the 69kg welterweight for Nigeria at the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo, defeated Adan Ahumada via judges’ unanimous decision on Friday night.
Oluwafemi was signed last year to Mayweather Promotions, LLC which is a boxing promotional firm founded by Mayweather.
Sharing his encounter with the wealthy boxer who turned 40 on Friday, Oyeleye, who gave good account of himself,
wrote in his Facebook page: "With my boss Floyd mayweather jr, missed my fight but told me he heard a lot about me and we are gonna get to the top together. Glad I met this gentle man and the best boxer of our generation #TMT#Theeagle," he said along with a picture he took with the legendary boxer.
