SUPER Eagles duo of Brown Ideye and Elderson Echiejile
have confirmed their arrival at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja for Nigeria’s
preparations ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Chipolopolo
of Zambia in Ndola on Sunday.
Echiejile who is yet to feature for Standard Liege of
Belgium since moving from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on a one-year loan deal this
summer, posted a picture with Ideye while on board to Abuja on Monday.
“Touchdown Abuja #EUE3 #SuperEagles”, the Super Eagles
defender said on his Twitter accounts along with the picture.
Ideye on Sunday continued his impressive early-season
form for Olympiacos, scoring the opening goal in their 3-0 win over AEK Athens in
the Greek Super League. It was his fifth goal in four games for The Red-Whites this
current campaign.
The former West Brom record striker however revealed
reasons for his newly discovered form on his official Twitter account
immediately after the encounter.
"I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem
to have, all thanks to God☝☝ #wekeepondreaming #olympiacosfc #weruletheland #believe,”
he said via @OfficialIdeye.
