THE remains of Plateau United Football club of Jos physiotherapist,
Damian Kuptong has been buried in Jos, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
Speaking at the funeral service which took place at
Church of Christ in Nations, Laranto, Jos, Pastor Bitrus Bagos said death is a
passage from prison into the palace where believers reign with God.
Bagos who lamented that believers nowadays forget about
their creator due to worldly pleasures, reminded all that everybody will give account
of his deed before God.
He described the late Damian as a dedicated and committed
Christian who, despite the tide nature of his job, he still find time for God
and urged his family to take his death in God faith.
There were goodwill messages from his wife, family,
Plateau state sports council, Jos, and school mates who all eulogised him as a
rallying point.
The late Damian Kuptong who is survived by a wife and 2
children joined the services of plateau united in 2016 as the team’s
physiotherapist on secondment from the Plateau State Sports Council.
Staff of Plateau United and Plateau State Sports Council who
attended the funeral service described his death as a great loss not only to
his family and the place of work, but the state at large and prayed God to
grant his soul eternal rest.
