NASARAWA United have been fined a total sum of N2million
by the League Management Company for various breaches of the Nigeria
Professional Football League (NPFL) Framework and Rules.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the disciplinary actions arose
from the failure of the club to ensure adequate security, crowd control and
restriction of unauthorized persons from restricted areas during the game
against Plateau United in the NPFL match-day one encounter held at the Lafia
Township Stadium.
The Solid Miners lost the game 1-0, no thanks to 87th minute
strike by Raphael Ayagwa.
In a series of tweets by LMC on Friday, Nasarawa United were
ordered to pay N1million for the lapses during the game and another N1million being
compensation for assault on the match officials.
