Sacking Obuh not immediate solution, Kwara Utd appeal to fans

THE management of Kwara United has sent a passionate plea to the fans of the Ilorin based club to exercise patience with the team following their poor start to the 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League season.


Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the Harmony Boys are rooted at the bottom of the table after recording just one victory in five games.

The club media officer, Abdul Waheed Bibire in a statement said showing coach John Sam Obuh the exit door is not the immediate solution. 

“Sequel to a press released issued by some concern stakeholders calling for the sack of Kwara united FC technical adviser Sam Obuh ,the management wish to use this medium to appreciate the concern and the feelings of the stakeholders regarding the performance of the team.

“However, the management also want to use this medium to exercise patience and rally round the team particularly the technical adviser by giving him the necessary support at this trying period. 

“Sacking the embattled technical adviser is not the immediate solution to the challenges at hand, rather we should all sheaths our sword, be more focus, continue to give our support, and above all prayerful. Surely united we are the better for us,” Bibire said.
