coach, Duke Udi has admitted that their Nigeria Professional Football League
(NPFL) Match-Day 3 encounter against troubled Nasarawa United will be a tough one.

for the encounter buoyed by the four out of possible six points garnered from
the first two matches of the 2017/18 NPFL campaign against a United side that
are yet to register a point in the season.
The visitors battled to a 1-1 draw in this tie last
season, though the Solid Miners almost scuppered Sunshine Stars successful
relegation fight in the 2016/17 campaign following a shock 1-0 defeat handed
the Akure landlords in the return leg in Ijebu Ode.
However, in the sides’ last meeting Sikiru Alimi's brace
helped Sunshine Stars subdued the Kabir Dogo charges 4-2 in a 2017 AITEO Cup
round of 32 encounter at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode.
During a pre match interview, Udi who lauded the quality
of his Nasarawa United opposing figure expressed optimism in his charges
readiness for the game.
“Nasarawa has always being a good team and they have a
fantastic coach in Dogo, I respect him a lot. I am worry playing against him is
always a difficult 50/50 game.
“Since they lost their first two matches it will be a
tough game but we are ready for the task," Udi declared.
Meanwhile, big Beninese defender, Rock Durand remained sidelined
with a thigh injury making him the only unavailable player for the trip to
Lafia.
