Robbers attack Dogo's house, beat wife, cart away valuables

ARMED robbers invaded the Ilorin home of Nasarawa United Coach, Kabiru Suleiman Dogo and carted away valuable items worth millions of naira in the process sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.


The robbers, whose numbers could not be ascertained, beat up the wife of the coach and other members of his family that were at home while carrying out the illicit act. 

Among the items stolen were jewelries, generators, electronics, cloths and undisclosed amount of cash.

In a chat with sportsbiz247.blogspot.com on Tuesday, Dogo who was away with his team in Lafia preparing for Nigeria Professional Football League match day 25 encounter against Enyimba while the attack was on in Ilorin, gave thanks to Almighty God for not losing any member of his family and prayed for the exposure and reward for all those involved in the evil act.

"I was called immediately the incident happened in the early hours on Sunday but I could not made it known because of our match against Enyimba so as not to disturb our match.

"I came back to Ilorin on Monday and I thank Almighty Allah that we did not record any death. 

"My wife and other members that were at home were beaten but she is okay now. We have overcome the incident.

"They took my wife's properties including jewelries, cloths and mine too. They also took cash, electronics including television and generator.

"My wife had been with me in Lafia for the past two weeks but only returned to Ilorin on Friday before the attack.

"I only pray that Allah expose and  reward all evil minded people that were involved in the bugle of my home in Ilorin and injured my family despite carrying my properties, Insha Allahu," the former ABS FC coach prayed.
