NASARAWA United Coach, Kabiru Suleiman Dogo is hoping injured striker, Adamu Hassan will be fit in time for their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 25 clash against Enyimba at the Lafia City Stadium this weekend, sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.

Adamu got injured during the team’s 2-0 victory over Katsina United in NPFL matchday 23 encounter where he bagged both goals. He was subsequently ruled out of last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Remo Stars in Shagamu.

In a chat with sportsbiz247.blogspot.com, Dogo who has already predicted a difficult top-flight tie against the People’s Elephants, also said he has capable replacement for one of his defenders, Jide Williams, who got a red card during the Remo Stars clash.

“We have some players that will be affected by cards and some by injury. One of my defenders, Jide Williams got a red card in our last match and I already have a replacement for him. We are still looking at fitness level of my top striker, Adamu Hassan who got injured during Katsina match and hoping to have others back too.

“We want to achieve something at the end of the season and to do that you have to continue to pick your points and home matches are most important. Enyimba being a former champion, I know its going to be a tough game because they have also improved on the table. We lost three points last week, so we must come out with all out to make sure we redeem our image,” Dogo said to sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
