GOMBE United Technical Adviser, Manu Garba has demanded
total commitments from his lads in fight to avoid relegation from the Nigeria
Professional Football League this season.
Garba made the charge while addressing the players after
their last training session on Tuesday morning at the Pantami Stadium ahead of
their NPFL matchday 26 encounter against Abia Warriors on Wednesday.
The Savannah Scorpions
are currently occupying the 19th position on the table with 27 points and Garba
said anything less than a win is unacceptable, considering the precarious
situation they finds themselves in.
"Gentleman! You know what is at stake, to get out of
the relegation waters, your commitment must be hundred percent.
"I know you can do it, all you need to do, is to
play according to instructions,” the Media Officer of the club, Halilu Mohammed
Teli quoted the gaffer.
The former national under 17 team handler commended the
supporters of the club for their relentless support and hoped would be
sustained.
Meanwhile, Deputy Captain Alhassan Yusuf, Sale Mohammed
and Sadiq Shuaibu have resumed full training after nursing various degree of
injuries.
Alhassan Yusuf (knee), Sale Mohammed (Ankle crack) and
Sadiq Shuaibu (Hamstring) participated in Tuesday's training session and are in
