Anichebe to earn N32m-a-week in China

NIGERIA international, Victor Anichebe's move to Beijing Enterprises Group FC in China will see him become 100k (about N32m) richer every week, sportsbiz247.blogspot.com have been informed.

A source close to the player revealed that the deal was brokered by his Nigeria representative Mr. Segun Ogunbayo and Chinese agent, Mr Bin.

According to the source, the 29-year-old striker signed a two and half year deal worth $5 million per year with the Chinese Division One side.

The Beijing 2008 Olympic silver medalist with Nigeria Dream Team last played for English Premier league side Sunderland last season where he earned £20,000 (about N8m) before they got relegated to the lower division.

He netted thrice in Eighteen appearance for the Blackcat .

Beijing Enterprises are 11th in China’s 16-team League One.

He joins other Nigerian players now plying their trade in China including Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel, Odion Ighalo, (who is Nigeria’s highest paid player), Obafemi Martins and Brown Ideye among other.
