THE administration of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State is marching its words with action on sports development to empower the youths in the state.
The governor make the promise a reality with the donation of two Hummer Buses to the two state owned football clubs, Kogi United and Confluence Queens to ease their transportation challenges in their respective league campaigns.

At the presentation of the buses to Chairman of the clubs, Mallam Abdul Sule at the Kogi State Government House, Lokoja, Governor Bello said the gesture was the fulfillment of his promise made to the clubs during the Democracy Day celebration.
Represented by the Transport Officer of the government, Oyibo Johnson, the Governor noted that sports has gone beyond entertainment but it's now full business that can bring revenue to the state.
Governor Yahaya Bello however said his administration would continue to touch all areas of sports to make them admirable for corporate sponsors.
Commending the sports loving governor for the timely gesture, Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens, Abdul Sule promised that the two clubs would reciprocate with a perfect ending season adding that they will always make the state proud.
Abdul Sule had since handed the key of the two buses to the Team Manager of Kogi United, Ameh Henry and that of Confluence Queens, Ojo Tosin.
