SUNSHINE Stars goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke believes the team is capable of beating Enyimba in Wednesday’s rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League game at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, should the match officials allowed a level playing ground.

The Owena Waves dropped to ninth position on the log after losing 2-1 to 3SC at the Lekan Salami Stadium last weekend. The Akure based side got the lead through Meshack Chukwubuikem but Sunday Adetunji scored brace from the spot to give host the victory.

In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com, Olorunleke said the players have put the weekend’s loss behind them and are now focused on getting a favourable result against the former NPFL champions.

“We are going to approach Enyimba game with the hope of winning if only we could get fair officiating. This is because our last match against 3SC in Ibadan was nothing to write home about. To me, officiating should still be without any favour. You cannot say because you want to satisfy one team and then cause pain to the other side.

"So we are praying and hoping for a better officiating against Enyimba even if it is 60 to 40, I am very sure we will come out victorious on Wednesday,” the former Nigeria U20 goalkeeper told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com on telephone on Tuesday.

Olorunleke who joined Sunshine on loan from Giwa FC said he is enjoying his stay with the club.

“I am enjoying myself at Sunshine I must confess to you. There are lots of senior players that we are learning from and are encouraging us and I hope to make my mark with the club during my time here. The fans are great and we have management that takes the welfare of players paramount."
