MFM VS NASARAWA UTD: It's payback time, Dogo vows

NASARAWA United head coach, Kabiru Suleiman Dogo has assured that his team will secure the three maximum points when the play MFM in the Nigeria Professional Football League Week 21 encounter billed to hold at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Wednesday.

The Solid Miners suffered a 2-1 loss to the Olukoya Boys in the match day 1 of the reverse fixture at their adopted Aper Aku Stadium-home in Markudi and Dogo has vowed to do the same to the coach Fidelis Ilechukwu's side in front of their fans in Lagos.

“The match will be an opportunity for use to have our three points back because in our first encounter this season, they defeated us on our home ground and it is right time for us to come to Lagos and do the same to them,” Dogo told SportingLife on telephone on Tuesday.

“We were been able to point out the areas we noticed lapses in the first stanza and we have made the necessary corrections. It's payback time as we are coming to Lagos to pick our three points.

Dogo said the 2-1 win over Enyimba has raised his team’s spirit ahead of today’s encounter.

“The team is in high spirit having defeated the defending Champions Enyimba in our last match. We know that MFM is also not a small team and we are going to work hard to ensure we pick the maximum points. The state and club management have ensured that the team is well motivated and it is now left for us to justify that by getting a good result on Wednesday.

“This is going to be an interesting game and Lagos fan will no doubt enjoy the best of football," he assured.
