By Akeem Lawal
Wartford forward, Odion Ighalo continues to keep fit ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League campaign by training on a beach in Lagos.

The Super Eagles striker who is still on holiday in Nigeria posted a video of his training routine at the Atican Private Beach, Lekki off Abraham Adesanya Estate Road, Okun Ajah Town, Lekki-Ajah, Lagos on his Instagram account.

Despite reports linking the Nigeria international with a move away from Watford, the 27 year old is expected to join his teammates for pre-season games in preparation for the new season under new manager, Walter Mazzarri, reports Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.

The Hornets will commence their schedule of pre-season friendlies with a trip to National League outfit Woking at the Laithwaite Community Stadium on Sunday July 10, with a 5pm kick-off.

Watford will also engage Stevenage Football Club, who plays in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system, at the Lamex Stadium on Tuesday 12th July (7.45pm).

The Premier League side will make the short trip to Loftus Road on Saturday, July 30 to face Queens Park Rangers in another pre-season friendly.

Mazzarri will begin his English venture at Watford with a visit to the south coast to play Southampton - who will also have a new manager at the helm following Ronald Koeman's defection to Everton - when the new Premier League season kicks off on August 13.
