NPFL return: ABS congratulates Kwara Utd boss, Kwarans

ABUBAKAR Bukola Saraki (ABS FC ) Ilorin Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, has congratulated the Chairman of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Prince Oladimeji Thompson, for returning the Harmony Boys back to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Chukwuemeka, on Tuesday recalled that a 3-0 bashing of Jigawa Golden Stars on Saturday in Ilorin has firmly confirmed the Ilorin based Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) side, will be playing in the elite league next season.

The Nigeria Premier League Club Owners scribe, commended Prince Thompson for working hard to see that he returned his team to its rightful place.

He also congratulated Kwarans for the promotion and added that his team will do all it can to ensure the people of the state watch dual Premier League games next season.

"For anyone that has played in the NNL, you will agree with me that you need a lot of hard work and dedication to get the job done.

"That is what Prince has done, I must congratulate his staff too because their support was huge too.

"I want to say that on behalf of the proprietor of the club, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki (SP), the chairman of the club Mr. Seni Saraki and all of us at ABS Ilorin Football club are happy to welcome our darling team to the NPFL.

"On our part, we will do our best to remain in the top flight, so the good people of Kwara can watch Premier League games every weekend," Chukwuemeka said.


ABS will on Wednesday lock horns with Enyimba of Aba in the round of 64 Aiteo Cup and another home fixture against league leader, Plateau United on Sunday in Ilorin.
