SUNSHINE Stars midfielder, Kehinde Adedipe has dedicated his goal against Niger Tornadoes in the Nigeria Professional Football League match day 35 to the new born baby of his former teammate, now Akwa United goalkeeper, Olorunleke Ojo.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that Sunshine Stars defeated Tornadoes 2-1 at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.
Adedipe opened scoring for the Coach Duke Udi side when he picked up a pass from Abiodun Joseph and fired in into the bottom right corner superbly from the edge of the area, his second against the Ikon Allah this season. Ajibola Otegbeye then doubled the lead in the 78th minute before Wilfred Ammeh reduced the deficit from the spot in the 83rd minute.
Reacting after the game to express his happiness, Adedipe said on his Facebook page: "I just want to say thank you lord for today's victory and also for the goal you gave me .....Yahweh is thy name.
"I want to dedicate today's victory and also the goal to the new born baby......Isaac Ojo Olorunleke jnr," Adedipe said.
Ojo, whose wife put to bed a bouncing baby boy a fortnight ago had a memorable stay with the Owena Waves during the 2015/16 League season before joining the Promise Keepers during this NPFL mid-season transfer window.
