Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC) Ilorin Head Coach, Henry Makinwa has praised his players for fulfilling their promise of beating Plateau United in the Nigeria Professional Football League match day 35 encounter at the Kwara State Stadium Complex on Sunday.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the Saraki Boys boosted their hope of survival with a 2-0 victory over league leader thanks to goals from Samuel Oyedeji and Wasiu Alalade.
Speaking after the game, Makinwa said his boys told him they are going for a revenge for the 4-1 bashing in Jos and that they will give their all.
"The boys won the game, I was going to talk in the pre-match, they said don't talk, we will win the game.
"Till the last game, we are going to be there, fighting for everything.
"We work everyday to win all the games if it was possible," Makinwa said.
The former Rayo Vallecano of Spain attacker, said his opponent deserved to be in their present position because they are technically sound.
His Plateau United counterpart, Kennedy Boboye, said the better side of the day won the game.
"The two sides played a beautiful game but the better side won.
"My boys gave their best, you have to be in a good shape to play in Plateau United," Boboye said.
The Saraki Boys will now travel to Gombe United for match day 36.
