CAF Confed Cup: Rangers, Enyimba to know group opponents Nov 12

NIGERIA’S representatives in the 2019/20 Total CAF Confederation Cup competition, Enugu Rangers and Enyimba will learn their opponents on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) announced that the draw for the group phase will hold at 12H00 local time (10H00 GMT) at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Enyimba advanced to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on a 4-1 aggregate win over TS Galaxy of South Africa in the Play-off, while Rangers book their place after recording a 4-3 aggregate win over AS Pelican of Gabon.

The 16 qualified teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each for the group phase of the second-tier club championship. 

The teams are:

1. Al Masry, Pyramids (Egypt)

2. HUSA, RS Berkane (Morocco)

3. Enyimba, Rangers (Nigeria)

4. Paradou(Algeria), ESAE (Benin)

5. San Pedro (Cote d’Ivoire)

6. Motema Pembe (DR Congo)

7. Horoya (Guinea)

8. Al Nasr (Libya)

9. Djoliba (Mali)

10. Nouadhibou (Mauritania)

11. Bidvest Wits (South Africa)

12. Zanaco (Zambia)
