A’fif Club 1-5 Al Nassr: Musa fires warning to Benin, Lesotho with brace

SUPER Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa announced his return to match fitness by hitting brace to help Al Nassr beat A’fif Club 5-1 in the Round of 64 of the Saudi Arabia King’s Cup Match at the Al Majmaah Sports City Stadium on Saturday, Sportsbiz247.blogsports.com. 

Musa made his long-awaited comeback, playing played for seven minutes as Al Nassr beat Abha 4-0 in the Saudi Arabian Pro League last weekend and followed up with another four minute appearance in the clubs’ 2-0 win over Al Faisaly during the week.
The Nigeria international, who was handed his first start since return from the injury, put his team in the driving seat in the 23rd minute, his first goal of the season.
Awadh Khamis added to the tally in the 44th minute before Hamad Al Mansor made it 3-0 in the 51st minute. 
Musa then scored his second goal of the day in the 55th minute to make it 4-0 before Giuliano made it 5-0 from the spot in the 71st minute. 
Hamza Abda however got the consolation goal for the host in the 79th minute but the visitors held on to victory to book their place in the Round of 32.
Musa is now expected to carry the scoring form into the National team as the Super Eagles face Benin Republic and Lesotho in the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers next week.
