Nigeria internationals, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi
Iheanacho joined other Leicester City players to pay an emotional tribute to
Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha at the opening of a garden in memory of those who
perished in the King Power Stadium helicopter tragedy.
The Super Eagles duo with team mates and emotional City
fans gathered on the site of the helicopter crash on Sunday.
“Paying our respects to a great man 💙#theboss
always in our hearts,” Ndidi wrote on his Instagram account.
The crash, which happened one year ago, claimed the lives
of five people - the club's then chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, his
employees Nusara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, passenger Izabela Roza
Lechowicz and pilot Eric Swaffer.
The tragedy devastated Leicester City fans and left much
of the city, and those involved in the world of football, in shock.
