Sunshine Stars vs Katsina Utd: Dogo targets next six points

By Akeem Lawal
SUNSHINE Stars Technical Adviser, Suleiman Kabiru Dogo has set his sigh on securing six points in their next two games of the Nigeria Professional Football League starting from this weekend’s matchday 8 encounter against Katsina United.

The Owena Whales were handed their first defeat of the season in a 1-0 loss to Niger Tornadoes during the week, no thanks to Tanko Awwal's first-half strike.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the Akure based side will host Katsina on Monday at the Akure Township Stadium, before welcoming Bendel Insurance during the week and Dogo, who bemoaned the manner in which his side lost their match in Minna, believes getting the next six maximum points is non-negotiable.
"I cannot say I lost to a better side; what I saw here I have not witnessed since the start of the season. The goal aside, a lot of factors contributed to the outcome of the game. Well, I know Tornadoes were desperate for the win.
"In our next two games at home we will fight for the six maximum points. Anything short of victories in the two games will not be good for our standing on the table. We will go back and work on some things for the next match." Dogo said.
