SUNSHINE Stars head coach,
Kabir Suleiman Dogo says he is not under any pressure whatsoever, after his team
suffered their second defeat of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football
League season in a 2-0 loss to MFM FC on matchday 10 at the Agege Stadium on
Wednesday.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that goals from Kabir Adeniji and
Michael Ohanu was all the Olukoya Boys needed to extend their lead on the Group A table to 18 points, leaving the Owena
Whales to 3rd with 15 points.
Dogo, who expressed satisfaction with officiating, rued his forward’s inability to convert their chances during the course of the game.

“Despite the fact that my
team played well, congratulations to MFM. The game was not a bad one but the
first goal gave MFM the tonic that gave them the upper hand. In football, it’s
all about goals that make the difference. We didn’t make use of the chances we
had.
“Apart from football, when a
military man is going for war, he always think of victory and that was our
target in Lagos. Unfortunately it didn’t go our way today.
“For me there is nothing new
in football and football is all about challenges. I don’t feel any pressure
from this game. It is a League, not FA Cup. If we didn’t get it right today, it
doesn’t mean we won’t get it right tomorrow. We will continue to work and see
what we can bring out at the end of the day.
“The referee did a good job,
they should keep on like that. Everybody that watched the game know that they
have tried . They are bound to make mistakes but in today’s game, we have to
commend them, LMC and NFF for a job well done. They should continue like this
so that at the end of the day, everybody will know that we are going to get
true champion,” Dogo told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
