AC Milan reportedly keen on
signing Charleroi starlet Victor Osimhen and could snap the Nigerian up for
€15m (about N6.2b), according to highly respected Italian website Tuttomercatoweb.
The website reported on Tuesday
that the Italian giant have turned their
attentions to the Super Eagles forward after being priced out of moves for
Gerard Deulofeu and Yannick Carrasco.
Milan were working on a deal
to bring back Deulofeu, but it emerged late Monday night that Watford gave the
Rossoneri until Tuesday to offer €25m up front for the Spaniard.
Also a deal for Carrasco is
also thought to be out of the Diavolo’s reach and TMW explains after negotiations,
the Rossoneri are ‘ready to go live’ with the intention of taking the
20-year-old Osimhen to San Siro.
Osimhen, who can play
anywhere along the front line, has 10 goals in 20 appearances for Charleroi
this season, as well as three Nigeria caps.
However, he is owned by
Wolfsburg and his loan club have a €3m option to buy, although TMW claims the
Rossoneri could snap him up for €15m.
