Maikaba calls up Ajiboye, four others for Elkanemi tie

PLATEAU United Football Club of Jos technical adviser, Abdu Maikaba has called up five new players in their quest to record victory over El-Kanemi in the week three fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Group B slated for their adopted home ground, the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin on Sunday.

The team which suffered their heaviest defeat in three years when they lost 3-0 to Heartland in Owerri midweek, have called up goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye, Kabiru umar, Hamisu Sale as well as new signings, Bashiru Usman and Uche Odoba ahead of the match against the Coach Babaganaru Mohamed led side. 
Oche and Bashiru Usman  will be looking for their official debut in the two upcoming matches while Kabiru umar will be making his first appearance for the club this season. 
Goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye lost his place in the second match to David Obiazor is expected to stake a claim for the the number one position with the former Kano pillars goalkeeper and the ageless John Gaadi. 
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that Plateau United are seeking for their first win after playing a out a goaless draw in their season opener with FC IfeanyiUbah which led their fans to invade the new Jos Stadium and molesting the match officials in the process.
