Onyekuru is in cloud nine after scoring hat-trick in Galatasaray’s 6-0 victory
over Ankaragucu in a Turkish Super Lig game played at the Türk Telekom Stadyumu
on Saturday, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The Nigeria international uploaded
a 50 seconds video of his first goal where he celebrated with a dancing step on
his Twitter handle immediately after the encounter.
“The moves you make when you
get your fist hatrick ⚽⚽⚽! A great start to the year and team performance! All
Glory to God! ❤💛,”
the 21 year old said alongside the video.
Turkish international Gumus Sinan
had opened scoring for the home side as early as the first minute of the game
before Onyekuru doubled the lead in the 21st minute
Sinan scored again in the 26th
minutes as Galatasaray took a three goal lead to the halftime break.
Upon resumption of the
second half, Onyekuru score his second of the day to make it 4-0 after
receiving a through ball from Fernando in the 59th minute, before completing
his hat-trick four minutes later.
Senegal international, Badou
N'Diaye then wrapped up the result with the last goal of the game in the 86th
minute to take the Fatih Terim side to third on the table with 35 points from
19 matches.
Onyekuru who has now scored
nine goals since joining on loan from Everton, is expected to return to action
when Galatasaray take on Goztepe in their next league fixture scheduled for
Saturday, January 26.
