REMO Stars Football Club (RSFC) forward, Dufegha Eric says
his winning strike and victory over Katsina United in the Nigeria Professional
Football League (NPFL) Match Day 17 fixture decided at the Gateway
International Stadium, Sagamu, last weekend means a lot to him and the team.
Substitute Dufegha stole the show on his debut with the
winning goal in the 89th minute to secure the maximum points for the coach
Fatai Osho side in the last home game of the first half of the season.
"We have been working very hard in the past days and
thank God for the victory because it means so much to me and the team.
"I feel very happy getting my debut goal for Remo
Stars because the fans have been expecting a lot from me and I haven't gotten
too much chance to play but I am happy I took this chance with both hands.
"It has been my dream getting goals for the team and
I appreciate God once again for the goal, I hope to get more goals in the
coming games to come," Dufegha told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
The victory saw the Sky Blue Stars move out of the
relegation zone to 14th on the log with 19 points from 16 games.
