SUPER Eagles duo of Kelechi
Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi celebrated Leicester City chairman Vichai
Srivaddhanaprabha’s 60th birthday with a teddy bear’s picnic at
Leicester Royal Infirmary.

reports that the event was held in the hospital’s LEat restaurant and saw the
children entertained with games, live entertainment and a number of activities,
including painting, teddy bear making and a horse racing game.
Both Iheanacho and
Ndidi joined first choice goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and Leicester City chief
executive Susan Whelan to cut the cake, which read “Happy Birthday Mr
Chairman”.
Speaking at the
event, Iheanacho said: “It was lovely. Whenever you’re with the kids you’re
happy - you play with them, paint with them and feel loved. Kids are the most
important people in the world.”
Ndidi echoed those
sentiments as quoted by Leicester Mercury, saying: “You can see the children are happy, they are taking
pictures and painting together. I feel it’s a great step for everybody.”
The players and
children also sang Happy Birthday to the chairman and in his absence they also
helped to blow out the candles on his cake.
The party is just one
of a number of ways the chairman is celebrating his landmark birthday with the
local community.
At Saturday’s game
against Newcastle, he’ll be giving away 60 free 2018/19 season tickets.
