Nigerian goalkeeper,
Vincent Enyeama has expressed his frustration following his inability to
feature for Ligue 1 side, LOSC Lille first team this season, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The 35 year old, who suffered
the injury in a 2-0 loss to Rennes on April 15, 2017, hasn’t featured for Lille
since he returned from a cruciate knee ligament injury in November.
The goalkeeper has
fought his way back to full fitness but has been limited to turning out for the
club’s B side.
“I missed playing
football”, the former Super Eagles captain said via his official Twitter
account @vinpee on Friday.
Recalled Lille
manager, Christophe Galtier revealed during the week that Enyeama’s predicament
was a result of the goalkeeper’s poor relationship with the leadership of the
club.
“I answer you
sincerely, Enyeama’s problem is not a sporting one. It’s one between the club
and the player,” Galtier told reporters when questioned about the keeper’s
continuing absence.
