NIGERIA Professional Football League side, Niger Tornadoes has relieved the Technical Adviser of the club, Erasmus Onu of his duty after nine games in the 2017/2018 NPFL season.

The former Sunshine Stars and Heartland boss Onuh was appointed following that sack of former head coach Abubakar Bala just before the kick-off of the new season by the club’s management.

The management of Niger Tornadoes in a series of tweets on its official Twitter account, said the decision was taken due to the club’s recent performance in the top flight which saw them rooted at the bottom of the table with nine points after recording three wins and losing six games.

The Chief Coach of the Minna-based side, Hamza Abara has been asked to take over on the interim, pending when a sunstansive technical adviser will be employed.

“After due consultation during the management meeting this Tuesday. The management agreed to sack Technical Adviser Erasmus Onuh.

“This is due to the club performance recently, which the management is not comfortable about.

“Our chief coach Hamza Abara @Azeezcoach has been notified to take charge of the team immediately pending the time we search for a coach suitable for the position of the technical adviser

“We wish coach Erasmus Onu all the best in his future endeavours,” the club said via @NigerTornadoes.
