Kwara United striker Stephen Alfred has vowed on behalf
of his team mates that the team's next target is to get the maximum three
points in their next Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game against Nasarawa United.
The coach John Obuh tutored side has been boosted with
their last victory at home against Katsina United, and Alfred explained that
him and his teammates want to redeem themselves by winning their next away tie at the Lafia Township
Stadium.
"We understand the importance of the match and more
so it is a northern derby hence the need to give our best.
"Nasarawa are no doubt a good team but they are
beatable and we shall do all our best to make our fans happy" he
explained.
Alfred who has scored three goals for the Harmony Boys in
the ongoing 2017/2018 NPFL campaign is poised to increase his goal tally
against the Solid Miners on Sunday in the week nine fixture.
