Ahmed Musa pens emotional farewell message to Al Nassr

SUPER Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has sent a farewell message to his teammates, management and fans of Al Nassr after departing the Saudi Arabia club, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.


The Saudi Pro League side had officially confirmed Musa’s departure from the club late in October.



The Nigeria international, who is now a free agent and is reported to have parted ways with the club mutually as he hopes to continue with his professional career in Europe.



The 28-year-old leaves the Najd’s Knight after spending two years with the eight-time Saudi Professional League champions.


“I want to say a very big thank you to my team mates,management & the entire Fans of @AlNassrFC Club for the great experience & unwavering support,love & care. It's been a pleasure & I am extremely grateful. Best of luck @AlNassrFC 🙏🟡🔵,” the former Leicester City forward said on his social media accounts including Twitter and Instagram.


Having completed his loan spell at CSKA Moscow, the Nigeria international joined the Asian outfit on a four-year contract from Leicester City.


In 58 appearances, he scored 11 goals and got 14 assists while helping the team win the 2018-19 Saudi top-flight diadem and the 2019 Saudi Super Cup.
